Well hellooooo there! It's time for our monthly catch up of all the things I'm loving lately, which I'm calling Friday Favorites because I LOVE a good alliteration!
May has been one doozy of a month. Mercury retrograde came out swinging this season and I've been feeling the burn of busy season, but I love all the enthusiasm for business owners doing a little Pinterest spring cleaning!
But we're actually not here to chat Pinterest today 🤭 That'll be next week. Whether your month has been stellar or a struggle, here are some things to brighten your day!
Favorite Project: I hope you'll forgive me, First name / friend, but my priority for consuming new content has been low to say the least. So I'm plugging a tried-and-true fave – the Scheduling Shortcuts course from Levee Road Studios. I know you're killing it in the business owner world, but everyone could use a good old #corporatelife joke (and maybe send some of her Reels to your niece that just graduated… 👀)
Favorite Show: I haven't finished a show since Anatomy of a Scandal (still a 10/10 rec from me!), but my partner and I are still chugging along on Handmaid's Tale and Grey's Anatomy, which are both solid options!
Favorite Desk Tunes: In addition to my fave lofi hip hop playlist, 2 new albums have topped the home office and CarPlay charts:
Favorite Self Care Tip: Therapy. ICYMI, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I think it's important to destigmatize getting help for whatever you're struggling with. For me, this looks like biweekly sessions with my lovely tele-therapist, and I honestly attribute a lot of my growth over the past 2 years to that support. If you want to find a therapist in your area, I would highly recommend Psychology Today's directory!
Favorite Coffee Order: We've been keeping it simple with coffees and lattes at home using our Nespresso. The Odacio and Scuro pods are our faves! But I did see a seasonal special at a local café for a Mint Mocha Iced Latte that I would've jumped on if their coffee machine wasn't broken…

It has occurred to me that this section is purely for my own benefit because everyone thinks their child (fur or human) is the CUTEST thing ever created, but either way, I hope you've enjoyed my cat mom aside.
